The Atlantis Modelling Agency was founded June, 2006 by Valerie McDonnough to provide the SL Fashion Industry a non-designer-exclusive agency dedicated to producing quality, custom-themed shows.
Overall Atlantis has produced 30 shows as of March 2009. Provided modelling services to the Second Convention twice, as well as 3 other special sim events.
In September 2009 CEO Valerie McDonnough decided to turn management over to Eria Ziemia, Tempest Hennesy and Takeshi Kiama.
The Agency will however continue to scout designers and content and produce shows from start to finish. Providing models, mc’s, dj’s, stage… everything needed to make a complete fashion experience for the audience.
It’s important to us to try read out to the broad crowd of SL and we also try to include male fashions in every show. We show clothing, shoes, jewelry, skins… even mech tech… anything an avatar can wear, showing off innovation and beauty in SL.
We offer to provide modelling services for ad creation and live in store models. Additionally we are capable of producing and have in the past, a show from the ground up for individuals or groups that are not designers but wish to have a show as part of a larger event (mall opening, festival, week of special events, etc….).
